Rules for Membership, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By applying for or maintaining membership with CosmicChurch.com (“Cosmic Church”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Membership Requirements

I certify that:

• I am at least 21 years of age.
• I am joining Cosmic Church voluntarily and of my own free will.
• I sincerely support the principles and spiritual philosophy of Cybology and recognize the Church’s sacred entheogenic sacraments as part of my personal spiritual journey.
• I believe every competent adult has the fundamental right to peacefully practice their sincerely held religious beliefs.
• I understand that Cosmic Church is a religious organization dedicated to education, community, spiritual exploration, and responsible religious practice.
• I understand that membership is a privilege, not a right, and may be suspended or revoked at the Church’s sole discretion for conduct inconsistent with its beliefs, policies, or community standards.

Law Enforcement Disclosure

I certify that I am not acting on behalf of any law enforcement agency, regulatory agency, or governmental entity for the purpose of investigating, monitoring, or interfering with the religious practices of Cosmic Church.
If I am employed by or affiliated with any law enforcement or governmental agency, I agree to disclose that affiliation truthfully before participating in any Church activities.

Voluntary Participation

I voluntarily choose to participate in the religious practices of Cosmic Church based upon my own sincere beliefs.
No one has pressured, coerced, or induced me to become a member or participate in any Church activity.

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that I have independently researched and educated myself regarding the potential physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual effects associated with entheogenic sacraments.
I understand that participation may involve known and unknown risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, psychological challenges, adverse reactions, illness, disability, or death.
I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with my participation in Church activities and accept full responsibility for my own decisions and actions.

Health Disclosure

I agree to provide truthful and complete information regarding my medical history, medications, physical health, mental health, and any condition that could affect my participation.
I understand that withholding information may increase the risks associated with participation and may result in denial or termination of membership.

Religious Sacraments

I understand that any sacred sacrament made available through Cosmic Church is provided solely within the context of sincere religious practice.
I acknowledge that:

• Sacred sacraments are never sold by the Church.
• Any sacrament received is associated with voluntary donations or qualified volunteer service supporting the Church’s religious mission.
• Any sacrament received is intended solely for my personal religious use.
• I will never sell, transfer, distribute, share, or provide any sacrament to another individual.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and forever hold harmless Cosmic Church, its affiliated ministries, officers, ministers, directors, volunteers, employees, contractors, members, successors, assigns, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, causes of action, losses, costs, expenses, or attorney’s fees arising directly or indirectly from my membership, participation, use of Church services, educational materials, ceremonies, events, community activities, or religious sacraments.
This release includes claims based upon negligence to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Covenant Not to Sue

I agree that I will not initiate, assist, encourage, or participate in any lawsuit, arbitration, administrative proceeding, or legal action against Cosmic Church arising from my voluntary participation, except where such waiver is prohibited by applicable law.

Member Responsibilities

As a member, I agree to:

• Respect the Church’s beliefs, doctrine, and community standards.
• Conduct myself honestly and respectfully.
• Follow all Church safety guidelines.
• Protect the privacy of other members.
• Use any sacrament only within the Church’s sincere religious context.
• Comply with all applicable laws in my jurisdiction.

Communications

I consent to receive communications from CosmicChurch.com regarding membership, educational materials, Church announcements, community events, and other related information. I understand that I may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Acknowledgment

By checking the agreement box and submitting my membership application, I certify that:

• I have carefully read this entire Membership Agreement.
• I understand and voluntarily accept all risks associated with participation.
• I understand that I am waiving certain legal rights.
• I enter into this agreement knowingly, voluntarily, and without coercion.
• I acknowledge that this agreement is binding upon myself, my heirs, successors, representatives, and assigns to the fullest extent permitted by law.
